Artist of the Month Feb 2012: Tony Fredericks

Hayward resident Tony Fredericks has been learning the art of segmented turning over the last five years. A roofer by trade, he wmet veteran turner Warren Atkins when he was replacing a roof in Warrens house. At that point, Tony was unfamiliar with segmented turning and after showing an interest in Warrens work, became his apprentice. At this point, Tony is fine tuning all that he has learned over the years and continues supplying Gallery M with exciting new work.
